Social Ballroom
We offer the following classes in our Social Ballroom program.
| Ballroom I: Social & Wedding Dancing |
Drop-in style. Begin any week. |
For entry-level dancers. This class introduces three popular ballroom dances: the foxtrot, waltz, and slow dance. A different dance is taught each week for three weeks and the cycle begins again. The cycle is repeated continuously throughout the year. Most people come as couples to this class. |
| Ballroom II: Social & Wedding Dancing II |
Drop-in style. Begin any week. |
The Ballroom II class builds on the material in the level I classes and introduces a spin and a traveling figure in the foxtrot, waltz, and slow dance. A different dance is taught each week for three weeks and the cycle begins again. The cycle is repeated continuously throughout the year. Most people come as couples to this class. |

Five Week Session |
Intermediate level. Builds on the material in Introduction to Club Dancing. Introduces new steps and turns in Salsa, Merengue and Cha Cha Cha. Come with or without a partner. |
| Cool Freestyle Moves |
Three Week Session |
Freestyle or non-touch dancing is a popular and easy way to have fun on the dance floor. Learn some simple, basic dance steps that work with your favorite tunes. |
| Four Count Swing |
Developmental Series |
The universal couples dance. Learn simple steps to dance to contemporary sounds as well as to beat music of the 70's, 80's and 90's. Come with or without a partner. |
| Introduction to Club Dancing |
Five Week Session |
For entry-level dancers. This class introduces basic steps in three popular club dances: cha cha, merengue, and salsa. Come with or without a partner |
| Swing I |
Five Week Session |
Beginning level swing. Our basic turns and simple patterns will have you looking great in no time. Come with or without a partner. |

Five Week Session |
Intermediate level swing. Builds on the material in Swing I. Introduces new rhythms and turns. Come with or without a partner. |
| Tango I |
Five Week Session |
Presents the basic elements of social Tango combined with a little Argentinean flair! Suitable for beginning level dancers. The fundamentals are reviewed and a new variation is taught each week. No partner required. |
| Tango II |
Five Week Session |
Builds on the material presented in Tango I. Adds more dramatic turns and lines. |
| Wedding and Special Occasion Dancing |
Five Week Session |
This class presents three ballroom dances that are popular at wedding receptions. These dances are the foxtrot, waltz, and slow dance. Topics covered include rhythm, partnering skills and simple step patterns. Most people come as couples to this class. For entry-level dancers. |
With the exception of our drop-in style classes all classes are progressive. To maximize learning, students must begin classes during the first or second week of the session. No new students will be accepted into the class after week two of the session.
When you decide which classes you would like to take, just show up during the first week of the session to get started. No pre-registration or prepayment is necessary.
If you are unable to attend our social ballroom dance classes, private lessons can be scheduled at your convenience. During private lessons you can work on any dances you wish to learn.

Your card will be punched at the end of each class attended. Cards may be used for any of our classes, and you can share your card with a friend (for example a ten class card provides five classes each).
