- Plan to begin your dance lessons two to three months in advance of your wedding.
- Choose a danceable song with a consistent beat.
- Keep your first dance choreography simple, rhythmic and elegant.
- Select choreography suitable to your music, your dance floor and your wedding attire.
- Practice a beginning and an ending to your dance.
- Dance as a team.
- Practice between lessons.
- Provide your bandleader or D.J. with clear instructions regarding introductions, tempo (we will advise you on this), the length of your dance and the order of subsequent dances.
