Dance Center Chicago is one of the city’s largest and most diverse dance studios. It is approximately 10,000 sq ft and houses a main ballroom, a loft style room, and 4 smaller private rooms. We welcome artists of all forms to use our space for their creative outlets.

PRIVATE STUDIOS RATES

We base our rates on room occupancy. All rentals must start on the hour and must be full hour rentals only. We do not do half hour rentals.

Starting May 1st we will be merging the 1-2 and 3-4 people options. So rental prices will start at $25/hr.

1-2 People $20/hr

3-4 People $25/hr

5-6People $30/hr

7-10 People $35/hr

11-15 People $40/hr

16-20 People $45/hr

20 + People $50/hr

We have a 24 hour cancelation policy on all room rentals.

A credit card is required to secure all studio rentals. If you do not yet have a card on file with us, you may provide your information here: https://www.dancecenterchicago.com/credit-card Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are automatically charged at $20/hour.

Private studios range in size from 800 to 1200 square feet. Each is mirrored and equipped with a sound system which can be connected to via 3.5mm headphone jack or bluetooth. If using a phone without a headphone jack you must provide your own adapter/dongle. Also, we do not have open wifi so come prepared to use your device’s network or with music pre-downloaded.

Reservations are required.

Drop-in requests are accommodated whenever possible.

MAIN BALLROOM

Our main ballroom has a large 3,000 sq ft dance floor. It is a shared space for teachers and anyone who would like to practice. It is also available for events. Please contact us for details about event rental and pricing. This room can hold about 100 people for a large workshop, close to 300 people standing for a large party or around 80-100 people seated with space for a dance floor for an event.

LOFT

The loft is 1,400 sq ft. This room has a different feel from the rest of the dance studio with a dark wood floor and exposed brick walls. This room can easily fit about 60 people for a large class, 70-80 people standing for a party, 50 people max seated leaving a space for a small dance floor for an event. There are now some additional mirrors along the brick wall.

STUDIO 1 & STUDIO 2

These two rooms are identical. They are both 750 sq ft. They can hold up to 30 people for a group class. They both have windows on one side and two walls of mirrors. Studio 1 has barres installed.

STUDIO 3

This room is about 800 sq ft. It is triangular in shape having a maximum length of 50ft and with of 25 ft. It has one wall of mirrors covering the entire length of the room and windows covering the rest of the room. This room can hold about 30 people for a class.

STUDIO 4

This room is about 800 sq ft and shaped as a quadrilateral. It has no windows, two full walls of mirrors and one partially mirrored wall. This room can hold about 30 people for a class
